Marissa

runs a small systems studio supporting creative work behind the scenes. Her practice blends structure, intuition, and cultural analysis—helping people move from overwhelm to orientation with tools that actually fit. Alongside her studio work, she co-hosts podcasts about television, treating episodic storytelling as both art form and operating system.

Hi!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet. Glad you made it!

I’ve been online since the days when the internet made screeching sounds and websites loaded one pixel at a time. (Yes, I survived dial-up.)

These days, I run MGTV Systems Studio, where I help people make sense of work that feels heavier than it should. If a system feels brittle or hard to carry, it’s usually not because you’re doing it wrong—it’s because it wasn’t built for the roles you’re in, the rules you’re living under, or the resources you actually have. My work focuses on helping people see what’s really there and build structures that can hold real life.

I’m also a longtime podcast co-host, where I talk (and occasionally argue) about television shows we probably take too seriously—but not that seriously. They’re thoughtful, fun conversations about stories that stick with us.

This is my digital front porch — a place to kick off your shoes, click around, and find where else I hang out online.
