Hi, I’m Marissa Garza.

I help brain-different entrepreneurs who feel like their business is actively working against them figure out why the hell it keeps breaking—and design systems that stop betraying their capacity.

I’m not here to give you a “secret formula.”

I’m here to stop the backend spiral before it eats your whole week (again).

Because here’s the deal: you’re not the problem.

But your systems? Your tools? Your structure cobbled together in a launch panic and patched over during burnout?

Yeah. That might be.

why I side-eye most productivity advice

So much of the “get organized” world assumes we all have the same brain.

Spoiler: we don’t.

Most systems are designed for people with linear thinking, consistent energy, and a nervous system that doesn’t short-circuit when Slack pings. Not for folks navigating ADHD, autistic traits, decision fatigue, rejection sensitivity, or a brain that needs to stim and spiral before it settles.

I’ve done all the “right” things—read the books, built the dashboards, took the courses.

Still burned out.

So now? My approach is this:

  • Get under the hood and figure out what’s actually broken

  • Design a system around your brain—not mine, not theirs

  • Make it human. Gentle. Actually sustainable.

This isn’t about optimizing.

It’s about accommodating reality. Yours.

how I got here
(spoiler: it’s messy)

I started in the corporate world. Old systems. Unclear roles. Meetings about meetings.

Then I started working with creative entrepreneurs—and oh my, it was a little chaotic.

Brilliant people drowning in decision fatigue.

Coaches with ADHD trying to force tech-bro blueprints.

Neurodivergent service providers spending 80% of their energy managing backend fire drills.

Folks blaming themselves for what was never their fault.

And I was like… wait.

It’s not you! What if it’s the system you’re in?

That became my thing:

Translating how your brain wants to work into systems that don’t feel like violence.

Now I help people build businesses that work with their nervous system—not against it.

Even on the days when executive function has left the building.

what I don’t do

I’m not your “make 10k in 10 days” girl.

But I will help you stop gaslighting yourself about why it’s so hard to keep up.

❌ I don’t do it for you.

We build it together. You own it. Or hire someone to implement it.

Because this only works if it works for you.

We start with your energy. Your brain. Your body.

Then we pick tech that supports you—not the other way around.

what I believe

  • You don’t need to work harder—you need to feel safer

  • There’s no one “right” way to run a business

  • You’re allowed to move slow, say no, rest, or change your mind

  • Overwhelm isn’t a character flaw

  • Most of this stuff was never built for us

  • Accommodations aren’t indulgence—they’re strategy

the human behind the systems brain

When I’m not helping folks untangle operations spaghetti, I’m usually:

  • Falling down ADHD-burnout-executive-function rabbit holes

  • Testing out new workflows for dopamine science

  • Hiking and overthinking (they pair well)

  • Podcasting about TV and pop culture

Oh—and yeah. I’m neurodivergent too.

ADHD. Autistic leanings. Sensory overload. Shame spirals. The whole package.

So when I say I get it—I mean it.

what I actually promise

I won’t sell you a system that turns you into someone you’re not.

I won’t tell you to wake up at 5am.

I won’t pretend this is easy.

But I will:

  • Listen. Like, actually listen.

  • Help you name the real issue—not just the loud one

  • Build systems that feel like relief, not resistance

  • Walk with you—not ahead of you

  • Remind you (gently, firmly, often): you’re not the problem
